ICN Membership Terms and Conditions
1. The ICN program is managed by International Club Network Limited (“ICN”).
2. Only individuals who are members in good standing of a private club recognized by ICN may join ICN and use ICN to receive access to other private clubs. An individual’s membership in ICN becomes active upon verification of good standing status from the individual’s club and payment of the annual ICN dues. Should ICN learn that one of its members is no longer in good standing with a recognized club, ICN privileges to request a reservation will be terminated immediately. Private club privileges may be reinstated upon presentation of restoration of good standing status at a club.
3. “Member” refers to the person who is registered on the ICN Membership Application.
4. The membership benefits described herein (“Membership Benefits”) are authorized, available and in full force for as long as the ICN membership is fully paid, registered and in good standing.
5. Membership Benefits are for Member’s individual use only, and not transferable to any other person. The only exception to this rule is that a Member’s spouse may access other private clubs through ICN’s concierge. Lost or stolen membership cards, and any unauthorized use of a membership card or membership number should be reported immediately to ICN offices (1-800-903-4268) or icn@privaccess.com.
6. Private clubs affiliated with ICN retain total control of their guest policies. Those clubs may change their policies at any time. Each participating club retains the authority to confirm or decline a request for guest privileges by an ICN Member.
7. ICN Members granted guest privileges at a private club are ambassadors of both their home club and ICN. They are expected at all times to comply with the policies and practices of that club. If there is any doubt about a club’s policies, it is the responsibility of the ICN Member to determine those policies in advance by contacting ICN. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the Member’s private club access privileges.
8. All requests for reservations at a private club must be made through ICN. Private clubs have no obligation to grant ICN privileges to an individual who contacts them directly.
9. All Members are expected to pay the facility or private club they visit directly for any services received at the time of the visit. ICN is not liable for Member charges.
10. All private clubs that have agreed to grant access or special terms to ICN Members are independent operators. Therefore, ICN cannot and does not assume any liability or responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property or personal injury resulting from the Member utilizing the services of that club or facility. Any loss or damage is the sole responsibility of that club or facility and should be reported to the manager or owner of that property and the Member’s own insurance company as set out in such company’s rules regarding claims. Member specifically releases ICN and its officers, directors and shareholders from any liability arising from the Member’s use of ICN clubs or facilities.
11. ICN reserves the right to revoke your membership in ICN, or your privileges for private club access, and inform the management of your home club of this action, for any of the following reasons:
a. Willful destruction of private club property,
b. Physical or gross abuse of staff at a private club,
c. Refusal to adhere to the rules and policies of a private club that is being visited, or
d. Displaying conduct injurious to the reputation of ICN or its members.
12. The private clubs available to ICN Members and membership rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. Annual membership fees also may change without prior notice. Membership renewal will be automatic each year unless Member notifies his club or ICN in writing that he/she does not wish to renew.
13. Membership in ICN does not entitle you to rights to the equity or participation in the affairs of ICN. Membership does not imply any right or privilege to participate in or administer ICN business policies and does not create any vested or proprietary right of any kind in land or other assets of ICN.
